An update on how we communicate with you

We want to let you know that Progressive Building Society has now started communicating with some Members via text message.

If you receive a text message from Progressive Building Society, We will never ask you to:

  • provide your bank details, account number or PIN number to us by text or email
  • answer security questions by text or email
  • update your information by text or email


Suspicious text messages

If you receive a text message that you think is suspicious, do not act on it. It may look like it has been sent by Progressive or another financial company.  Remember, we will not ask for your bank details by text message or ask you to provide us with your account number or PIN number. 

Staying safe from fraud

Always remain vigilant when you receive information from any financial institution. If you have any concerns about a text message you receive from the Society, please call our Mortgage Helpline on 02890 160949.
