Tinylife is set to receive a boost this Easter as staff from Progressive Building Society branch in Glengormley have been knitting and selling Easter chicks for £1.50 with all profits going to the charity.
Tinylife which is dedicated to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies born here has also been awarded £5,000 as a charitable donation from Progressive Building Society’s Glengormley branch and will remain their nominated charity throughout 2015.
The charity was awarded with the donation after being nominated for financial support by Progressive staff. The money will be used by the charity to provide a range of support services and further fund vital research to ensure that every pregnancy has the best chance of a healthy outcome and a healthy baby.
Kerry MacDougall Manager of Progressive Glengormley is delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause, “At Progressive, we are actively involved in all the communities we serve and our staff are committed to supporting our charity work. We are proud to be supporting such a worthwhile cause and we are delighted with the response to this quirky fundraising initiative.”
