Progressive Building Society Omagh awards £5,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support which supports those affected by cancer and their families, has been awarded £5,000 as a charitable donation from Progressive Building Society’s Omagh branch.

The charity was awarded with the donation after being nominated for financial support by Progressive staff. The money will go towards providing information and support for cancer sufferers as well as funding further research and raising awareness.

 Amanda Wilson, Manager of Progressive’s Omagh branch is delighted to be supporting Macmillan Cancer, “We are proud to be supporting such a worthwhile cause and the staff have already participated in fundraising activities with many more ideas for the remainder of the year. At Progressive, the staff play an active role in fundraising and are always enthusiastic about getting involved with local charities.
